Texarcana to San Antonio
We made it all the way to San Antonio yesterday. Big, Big problems with traffic coming through Austin. If your going through Austin around rush hour morning or nite take the toll road around. Trust me, you don’t want to get stuck in the traffic jam we got into last night ! Anyways, we got into the Flying J on the I-10 just outside San Antonio around 7:30 so not too bad as we left Texarcana around 10. No problems and the weather is now nice and mild. We will hang here visiting the River Walk, Alamo and whatever else attracts us. Ben & Sylvie phoned from some place in Mississippi last night and said they’d meet up with us here in San Antonio today some time.

Wish I was there with you I love it there. See if you can find the cypress tree that a Mexican sniper would sit in and pick off Texans when they came to the river for water. There was a blues bar along the Riverwalk
