Teacapan
Hi all, i hope everyone is fine? We are now in Teacapan, well just north of it, in Villas Onac. A small very quiet resort with a few very nice little Villa. We rented one for a week. There is a big new RV park but the price of the villa (30$) per night was to… tempting. We left Sayolita for Miramar and spent a few days there with Ken a Rick (we met him in Sayolita). It was very nice there. So we said goodbye to all after a few nice day with them. We went north south of Mazatlan on a peninsula that is a dead end. The town at the end is Teacapan. The church said good thing about this place and he was right. So since yesterday we did NOTHING but relax. The beach is ok but no more, it’s colder here, well, it was hot yesterday but the sun was not very present today. I think it’s the same down where you guys are. We will spent about a week here and if nothing is interesting in Teacapan, we may head down south for our last week (or about) of vacation. At top i can push it till the very beginning of Febuary. Not sure where! Not sure of anything. We have WIFI but the connection is slow and sparse. Up north it’s different. How, well first it’s a bit colder, the beach are more desert and it’s NOT a bay here, it’s the Ocean. The very cool thing lately is that there is NO noise, never, not even rooster in the morning. It’s isolated and calm, so you like it or you don’t! La Manzanilla was very nice when we arrived, but i didn’t like a few things there, the influx of people (at some point), the very HIGH humidity, the Bugs and at some point, a gringos town…. BUT, way better than Sayolita, i hated Sayolita for that reason, to many gringos, and the price of everything goes with it!!!! Puerto Vallarta is also not for me, it’s an airplane gringos destination and if i want to go there one day i will go by plane. All those big town don’t interest me anyway. But that is us! Next year i’m comming back, but we will do the est coast and the Chiapas. This trip was one of a kind…. I have NO regret of anything. The group we had (still have in some case) was simply amazing. I wrote that for Paul & Linda also, i’m not exlactly sure what you want wile going back up, so you can juge the pictures i have put on my site and decide where you would like to go! I had my share of noise in that trip and that something i don’t like when in vacation. So camping near town/ village will alsways be a risk. In Sayolita, we had a Disco just behind. In la Ticla, 100 rooster and Donkey, in Villa Corona, it was the BANG BANG of La Guadalupe. La Manzanilla was ok in general, but THAT rooster, i should have cooked it
In Zamora, stuck in between 2 Disco. You should all know that i have a VERY VERY light sleep! That explain everything. I have started that trip with Frank…. we did it! And that is simply amazing!!!
Anyway, it’s not finish for me, i have 2 weeks+ left but i felt like doing a little report on that trip so far.
Many pictures are on my site…. (Harder to upload here but i still can)
So maybe i’ll see some of you again?

Ben I would rather be listening to that rooster than snow falling and wind blowing. Enjoy

Ben, all the cocos were cut down this morning. We have many on the ground and they sure are good with Tequila inside ! All quiet here as the beach has cleared out of tourist both Mexican & Gringos. Mike still has not come by to get us up for the barbacue. I may go up there in a day or two. Bike is running but chain still slapping and the battery is going out ! We’re here with Jonathan and Ernst until the end of Januanry then heading South ! Paul & Linda may go North is a day or two.

Thanks for the info Frank. We thought of comming back south for a wile but is see (weather.com) that it’s still pretty humid there. Here, there is no humidity and no bugs! We met Cory and Ted yesterday, i spent the afternoon today with them, they are staying on that little campgroung i have showed on my new Teacapan page. I think they are leaving Saturday??? We may go for a Mangroove tour tomorrow. You should come up for a few days!!! But maybe it’s to calm here for you, he he he…… It’s a bit on the cold side at night. Later, Ben
