Six VW vans will be on the road shortly en route to Zamora to share April & Sal’s special day tomorrow.

It’s hard to leave paradise but we are looking forward to living new experiences and seeing more of this wonderful country. We have enjoyed Villa Corona and Chimulco Parque Acuatico. The village is very nice and we took part of the Guadalupe festivities – parade and Castilla (most wonderful fire works – it’s a structure that they burn and it is very colourful (spinning) and there are pieces of the structure/fire flying all over the place and the crowd is cheering – everyone must experience it some day – it was certainly worth staying up late LOL!), enjoyed our first Marguerita, tacos, and tomales from various street vendors. We also had our first experience purchasing fruit and vegetables at the Tuesday market. One thing we won’t miss are the 5:30 am canons and Paul’s friend the rooster. Everyone in the park and in town were most friendly.

On the road today are: Ben & Sylvie, Jerry, Sofie & Duke, Jonathan, Hans (if you recognize him LOL), Paul & Linda and the newest addition to the group, Ken (6 vans, 2 trailers, 9 people and 1 dog).
