Manzanillo to Playa Azul
Folks, just a quick update to let you know we are now in Playa Azul for the night and will head toward Pasquero and Moreila tomorrow. We spent the first few days going to La Ticla where me met Jason just as he was leaving. Had a short conversation and we thought he would come back before we left, he did not ! We stayed there three nights, until Jonathan and Mike & Marianne showed up, checked the surf and fishing then we all went beach hopping for a few days. Playa Placita, Playa La Manzanillera, Playa El Faro and Maruata then here to Playa Azul. We stayed three nights in Maruata, two with Jonathan and Mike & Marianne then Mike & Marianne went back to La Manzanilla and Jonathan went south. We stayed for one more night to celebrate Valentine’s Day in Maruata then left there this morning stopping at Playa Pichelinque and Playa Nexpa. It was fun on all the beaches and beach camps we found and there are hundreds more beaches on that Michocan coast between Manzanillo and Playa Azul to explore but they will have to wait for another day. We meet old friends Jerimy and Marion from France in their ‘76 Mex Combi who we met in La Manzanilla and met and made new friends with two other Westy couples one from Quebec and one from California. We now need to get moving to Moreila then to Puerto Escondido and Palenque. So stay tuned. I will write a more in depth story of the trip from Manzanillo to Playa Azul along with photos but no time tonight.
Adios,

So, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!! have fun for us… discover, just hang around, relax, take pictures, see people… discover!!! .. for you guys, it’s a VERY long trip, you have time…. time to enjoy. For us, it was too short.. even if for most, 2.5 month is quite long. Very strange feeling

Ben & Sylvie stuck in the cold!!!!
Same thing in Peterborough the Westy is buried under 2 – feet of snow, it hasn’t moved since we got back. It’s probably good the front blower quit because if it was working I probably wold have headed south again. Sofie would have been really pissed if I went for groceries and bought them in Mexico
