La Manzanilla – after the wedding
Here we are in La Manzanilla, on the Playa, finally, wedding behind us and we are recovering from the event of a lifetime. I cannot believe my daughter is now married and off to Ixtapa, Mexico on her honeymoon ! Whew ! Absolutely unbelievable ! Rita and I are now relaxing on the beach with her sister Judy and partner Renald, her daughter Isabelle and grand-kids Annabelle and Antoine, plus some of the Buses in Zamora travellers. We are all enjoying ourselves on the Playa. Pictures of the wedding and here in La Manzanilla are on Ben’s website, just got to his Blog post and click on the link he’s put there. Awesome stuff ! Enjoy and stay tuned for more to come !
Adios

What I’d like to know is who was that strange-looking man with your daughter, Frank??
OH, that’s you???
Congrats, and thanks for the photos, sorry I’m missing everything!
Finally a report from the big kahuna! Happy to hear all went well .. also like the new look, Frank. Was concerned the bride’s dad would be mistaken for Santa Claus! Hurry home .. East Village Opera Co plays Ottawa in January. Enjoy the warmth, the sunshine, the playa, the palm trees .. we are buried in snow here. Had to shovel 3 ft off the roofs yesterday!
Enjoying the blogs .. thanks especially to Jonathan and Ben.

Frank, I’m pretty damned sure I shed a tear when I saw the picture of you and your daughter! My daughter is 21 and I still have to go through that. Wow, it looks like your trip is everything, and more, that you imagined. What a great group of people. Great that the gringos are so well represented. I have a great respect for our neighbors, los Mejicanos, and it is a joy to read how much you guys appreciate them.
It’s been cold as hell and snowing crazy here, so thanks for bringing us all the warmth.
Miguel
You clean up nicely, Frank.
Have been enjoying your blog and wishing I hadn’t sold my van. Am planning to drag a little trailer down to Mexico in January. Where exactly are you staying in Manzanillo? thanks susan
