From Villa Corona
Rita and I met Jean at the Pemex outside Melaque around 9:30 and got under way on our trek up the MEX 80 toward Guadalajara. If you want a scenic twisty bit of Mexican road to drive then the Mex 80 is your baby. WoW is all I can say, what scenic wonders. Mountainous climbs and twisty turns all the way. Around 2:30 we were in Villa Corona and decided that was it for today. So here we are bathing in the pools of warm water. When we got here the place was packed with Mexican tourists and the camping area filled with campers from Quebec and Ontario. Internet is working fine at 10:59 PM as Jean & I sit here with the mosquiteos doing business. Rita’s gone off to bed. Tomorrow were off to Zacetecas with a stop at the Wal Mart in Guadalajara.
Adios,

I have followed the zamorablog with great interest every day and thank everybody for giving us a peek into your adventures. Drive back safely … keep your winter boots handy .. and we’ll see you at the stewart park festival. Note that East Village Opera Co is currently on tour in the US – check out their website for locations.
Frank, in Zacatecas, stay at the SAME hotel we did!!! the second one near the railroad / higway is a nightmare, again, noisy and far from downtown.
Thanks for everything. You guys drive safe.
