<p>When I stopped for the night it was already snowing and the roads were slippery.This drive turned out to be a 16 hour marathon drive.Some sections of the road were covered in black ice and the ditches were littered with cars and trucks.</p>
<p>Got home OK ,but a little tired.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This road is not very  well traveled.I did meet a group of bikers and the odd local driver in his pickup truck.It is an older road,but it is not pot holed.Just before the border the road climbs over a mountain  where a river cutt&#8217;s a nice canyon trough the mountain.To bad my camera was broken.At the border the wait was about fifteen minutes.But because they are not so busy,there was five of them going over my van.On the US side the road is excellent.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[This morning I have found hotel Frankfurt,but it&#8217;s been closed six months now.Cory and Ted were to stay there.I took my EV to VW dealer to have stick shift repaired,loose bushing.After a week there it could not be fixed.Oh well&#8230;It&#8217;s driveable just harder to find the right gear. <p>Today Jan.11 I&#8217;ve located Cory and Ted in PV RV park.It is walking distance from my place.Cory walked the beach close to the same time as me, but we did not run into each other.I went to a repair shop to see if the guy could fix my van and Corry went to the same place looking for some parts  just after me and again we missed each other.</p>
